1. SCOPE OF WORK (SOW)

The service provider is required for the desilting of the Pollution Control Dam at the mine as outlined below.

Removal of silt using an auger dredger for one lined Pollution Control Dam

• The capacity of the dam is 6000m³
• Desilting must also include the cleaning of a silt trap
• The equipment to be used for desilting will be inspected to check if it is suitable for the task.
• The 90 KVA diesel generator is required for the desilting process.
• Damage to the HDPE liner must be avoided, if is to happen, the service provider will have to pay for the damage
• The service provider must be able to complete the task within 3 weeks
• The work must commence between 07h30 and 17h00 Monday to Friday
• The workforce must be medically fit and attend the mine’s induction at the service provider’s cost
• Safety file must be prepared and submitted to the min
• The service provider must provide PPE to its employees
• The service provider must also equip all personnel with covid-19

• The removal of four (4) swarms of bees from the boreholes and possible two (2) under the waiting room containers
• The installation and monthly maintenance of six bee swarm trap stands.
• Equipment brought on the mine will be subject to inspection by the mine’s engineering personnel prior to being allowed entry to the mine
• The workforce must be medically fit and attend the mines induction at the service provider’s cost

     The service provider must also provide PPE to its employees

3. SCOPE OF WORK (SOW) The service provider is required for the cleaning and removal of silt from the trenches and culvert pipes at the mine as outlined below.

• Cleaning and removal of silt from the trenches (500m in length) over the period of four (4) months:once per month after rainfall

• Cleaning and removal of silt from two (2) culverts pipes once off.

• Equipment brought on the mine will be subject to inspection by the mine’s engineering personnel prior to being allowed entry to the mine

• The workforce must be medically fit and attend the mines induction at the service provider’s cost

• The service provider must also provide PPE to its employees

• Service provider will be required to work Monday to Friday from 06:30am – 15:30pm
